Located 14 km north of Carpentras via the D7 and D90 between the Dentelles and Mont Ventoux. Lafare is at the heart of Dentelles few houses up the village, populated by 100 inhabitants. Lafare is the starting point for many hikes to the laces of Montmirail. there are a milestone cottage north a small road that descends first into the ravine, then up to the laces. A walking trail leads left on foot in 5 minutes to an unexpected waterfall in the arid landscape in the middle of the gorge there are also several climbing routes.
