Villedieu is a medieval village north of Vaison on the edge of Drome former Commandery of Knights Templar, like the village of Richerenches located near Valréas. . Villedieu has natural limits of the Provence hills and river Aygues 
The village depends on agriculture, olive groves and vineyards Cooperative winery is known for its leading position in the production of organic wines, there also products Juices, fruit, grapes, muscat, abricats, olives and olive oil AOC Nyon. 
In the square of liberation ,, Centre coffee terrace spreads at the foot of the ramparts pierced by three doors. the narrow streets are home to beautiful houses. Two thirds of the population lives on farms around the village, the territory is partly occupied by the vineyard, Many hiking trails allow discovery of the North Vaucluse.
