Allos is a village of high Provence to the typically mountain charm, located at 1.400m of altitude in the East of the department in the valley of the high Verdon and the Valley of Allos in edge of the park of Mercantour. Dominated by the Pelat Mount, Large Séolane and the solid mass of the Three Evêchés, the Valley of Allos is one of the most snuffed places of the Alps of the South.
The Valley of Allos includes/understands the village of Allos and the two ski resorts of Seignus with 1500m of altitude and Foux with 1800 meters. Allos has the chance to have on its territory the largest natural lake of altitude of Europe (to 2230 m) and can thus offer be like winter of multiple activities to the medium of splendid landscapes: nature is preserved here and the sun is (almost) always with return.
The Valley of Allos was born in 1989, it is one of the greatest skiable field of the Alps of the South with 165 km of tracks.

- the station of Seignus was born in 1936, 7km downstream from Foux. You will be able to profit of more than 1000 km of paths which were marked out in the valley of Allos. Good walkers or petitesjambes, you will find one strolls on your level and will be able to discover the landscapes and the splendid nature which surrounds Allos with at certain places of the single points of view on the solid mass of Pelat and the National park of Mercantour.
The excursion to the Lake Allos is a very beautiful walk: to follow D226 starting from Allos on 13 km, park with the carpark located at the terminus of the road. Approximately 1 should be counted H of strolls quiet to the lake, through paths of discovered landscapes and flora. Arrived at the lake, you will not be disappointed by the imposing spectacle of this water mass blue azure enchased in a circus of stripped summits, covered with their feet with a green carpet with flowers, larches and fir trees.
The good walkers (with good shoes) will be able to continue trotts it juqu' with the Mount Pelat (3050m) to benefit from the panorama of the top which is époustouflant and to then continue the loop to the Collar of Small Cayolle and the Step of Lausson (to count 6 H of walk approximately with uneven of 620m).
