Trets is an old medieval city located between theSainte-Victoire mountain and the Auréliens Mounts at the border of the VAr and the Mouths of the Rhone. You will discover a large borough under development full economic, with with the c?ur of its territory the Trets old man enclosed in the vestiges of its ramparts.

The site preserved many testimonys of its past. You will be able to trott yourselves with pleasure in the small tortuous lanes of Trets and will cross beautiful old houses with mullioned windows. Trets is surrounded by fortifications dating from the XII° and XIII° century, you will pass by two of the five doors which still remain: the Gate of Jean Saint in the South and the gate of Pourrières in the West. You will be able to also discover typical passages under vault of the medieval city, with in particular the passage curiously called "Hole of Mrs Lion".

You will not be able to miss either the superb one and imposing church, Our Lady of Nazareth of the XII° (classified historic building) and its unfinished bell-tower
