At leaving the spectacular throats of red schist Mescla, you arrive at Saint Saver on Tinée, large borough of medium mountains located at the limit of the National park of Mercantour, and blotti in a loop of the river of Tinée.

Saint Sauveur hides his play well, when one does nothing but cross it by car. You will not regret making a thorough visit of it and will undoubtedly fall under the charm from the dark red color from the local stone in which the majority of its old houses are built, in perfect harmony with the Parma roofing stone of its roofs.

Paved of nine, its narrow medieval lanes release an environment envoûtante, climb and go down, to make you discover a pretty round fountain here, there a large covered laundrette, further one church orange baroque with the frontage painted from pink, equipped with a slim Romance bell-tower. Without forgetting some lintels carved in the stone dating from the 16th century, an old baker's oven and a mill with oil.

As more half of its territory is covered with forests, of very beautiful landscapes surround the village. You will be able to discover them through the hiking trails marked out, of which the famous paths of great excursion GR5 and GR. 5À which cross the commune
