Located at the foot of Alpilles, Saint Rémy offers to the visitors Its green small valleys and subtly scented, are lake in the heart of the alpilles, its beautiful residences restored with taste and its old lanes full with charm

Rémy saint of Provence, town of history, is built on one of the archeological sites oldest of Europe. Vestiges of the Counter of Glanum founded to the III° century before JC, then altered by the Romans under Jules César. They testify in a way impressive of civilizations which followed one another here. You will be able to visit there the large Thermal baths, the long residential avenue, the temple and the natural source of a true Gallo-Roman city going back to 30 to 10 years before JC. Two significant monuments are visible near the site: the Triumphal arch and the Mausoleum of the Antiques.
Logical continuation of the excavations of Glanum, you will visit then the archaeological center installed in the hotel Sade, splendid private mansion of the XV° century.
The amateurs of old stones, art and pretty shops will be at ease with Saint-Rémy.
