Located at the foot of the solid mass of Sainte Victoire, SIGNES is the most wooded commune of the VAr Its 11.000 ha of forests are the paradise of the hunters and the hikers.

At five minutes of the prestigious circuit of Castellet, SIGNS deserves to be called sporting station: pedestrian, equestrian excursions and VTT. It is also a remarkable site of parapente and deltaplane.

A rich and tumultuous history is readable through the streets and the monuments of the village: The XI century old church, Turn of the Clock, the XV century old Houses, Vaults, Oratories, Fountain with the witches…

Located on the southern slope of Holy the Balsam, Signes is a peaceful village a little with the variation of the crowd of the littoral.

Here you will appreciate the many possible walks in the wild and splendid decorations which surround the hills of the village.

Signs knew kept intact of beautiful vestiges of its past, in particular its church of XIIème, its tower of the Clock and several historical residences.

Traditionally some festivities are organized the summer with artisanal fair and market of secondhand trades
