The 660 hectares of the park of the Large Cornice, located on the territory of the communes of the Trinity, Villefranche-on-Sea, Eze and Turbie, extend from the Leuse mount to the Bataille mount. When the sky is released, on the sites of Justice, Revère and Forna, a spectacular panorama is discovered on all the littoral, of San Remo in Saint-Tropez, with very the possibility of seeing Corsica! 450 species of plants are listed in this park which is also one of the most interesting sites of observation of the avifauna.
Access
• By the A8 highway, to take the exit Turbie then to follow the direction Turbie and then the secondary road 2564 to the collar of Èze from which leave, on the right, the road of Revère and, 500 m further on the right, the road of Justice.
Parking
Carparks are at your disposal on the principal access points, in particular with the plate of Justice and at the height of Revère.
A table of orientation was installed at the top of a small reconstituted tower génoise.
To reach it, to take with the starting of the track of Forna, the way which goes up on the left.
Revère, this view-point natural offers a circular vision on the whole of the department from the coast to the tops of Mercantour.
• Room of interpretation
In Revère, the house of nature proposes two permanent exposures, one on the geology of the plate and the karstic system, the other on fauna, the flora and the landscapes Mediterranean.
These exposures are opened to the public (special schedules: information with 04.93.41.24 .36).
• Hikes
The military strategic road of Forna constitutes a pedestrian route of excursion.
• Path of discovery
A walk along the path of geology and path of botany, make it possible to discover, in a remarkable site, the various aspects of the geology of limestone and Mediterranean vegetation.
• Course of health
On the plate of Justice, a course of health of 1,4 km allows the realization of 13 exercises thanks to the establishment, along the path, of tackle in pine.
Characteristics
At the end of the track of Forna, the panorama opens towards Turbie, the Agel mount and the Alps.
