Surrounded by sumptuous landscapes, Oppedette is a small village perched on a rock headland. The village is integrated in a wild decoration of rocks and throats dug by the river of Calavon to form what is called here the "Canyon of Oppedette".
By approaching the village by the road which goes down since Vachères, you will have the impression to see spouting out Oppedette of the rock. The Village is a beautiful example of restoration and of integration with the environment because one took care to restore it by respecting and preserving his rustic and authentic character.
