Névache is a charming village of mountain nested with the c?ur

high valley of Clarée, that one reaches by a small road which skirts a pretty bubbling river, after having crossed several hamlets with the roofs of shingles and old stones passed by time and the bad weather.

Bucolique and quiet, wild and preserved, planted fir trees and surrounded by peaks and rock cliffs, this valley enchanteress is a wonder of nature, paradise of the cyclists and fishermen, at the same time as it conceals an interesting inheritance: church Saint Claude of Valley-of-Meadows, murals of the hamlet of Plampinet (16th century), many sundials…

Without forgetting, near, the collar of Izoard (2360m), high-place of the cycling, which offers to the glances, since its table of orientation, a superb panorama on the mountains of briançonnais and Queyras. In this valley blessed of the Gods, slack Névache, on meadows gently tilted where trottent horses, its country cottages of wood decorated with balconies of drying and hoods, its fountains and its baker's ovens.

The valley of Clarée is a preserved natural site where the sun, water and snow abound. Valley of the Meadows and Névache were blottissent in the marvellous space of the valley where each village preserved its stone and wood architecture.

On the road which walks on along Clarée, one crosses a succession of hamlets like the Young cow and the Rose tree before entering to Val of the Meadows, chief town of this commune which was named in the Middle Ages "Navacheta", "small Névache". Village where was born Emilie Carles (emblematic figure of the country, author in particular of the work "soup with wild grasses"), with its small lanes bathed by a sun so generous that one painted here also, of many sundials, Val of the Meadows bears its name well, with this village grouped around its church, in the medium of the meadows.
