Located at the extreme south-east of France, close to the Italian border, Menton is at the same time a garden city, a marine city and a seaside resort.

Menton was rewarded with 5 recoveries by gaining the 1st price for the contest for the flowered cities. Its exceptional sunning and its quasi subtropical climate support the culture of the orange trees, lemon trees, palm trees, mimosas and the extraction of rare essential oils, its many gardens created with talent are a real rapture and will make you dream. The winters being very soft with Menton and freezing being almost exceptional, the gardeners and landscape designers can then without constraints (or almost) leave free court to their imagination and their inspiration for the creation of the gardens. They are then admirably maintained and bichonnés by a small army of informed gardeners.

The presence of 2 marinas, the old port and the littoral are as many pretexts to enjoy the joys of the sea and the softness of living which reigns here all the year. The old city deserves your turning with its beautiful old frontages, you will find the environment and the charm of antan. Go flanez in Garavan, (between the old city and the Italian border), the villas of luxury are held to with it in enfilade, built formerly by the notable ones and the upper middle classes which went down on the Riviera to take good time. Chin (old possession of Grimaldi) was a vacation resort very appreciated of the crowned heads. They took their districts of summer in Menton and liked to be found there between fortunate people.

Do not miss celebrates it Fête of the Lemon which invests the city 3 weeks lasting between February and March. Throughout the walk of the Sun in edge of sea, the tanks built and decorated with citrus fruits according to different topic ravel each year.
