The village of Esparron is perched at the entry of the low gorges of the Verdon.
With the foot of the village reflect water turquoises of the Lake Esparron, bordered of creeks, cliffs and forests.
Distributed on 160 hectares, the Lake Esparron is made of throats which offer nautical courses of excursions in the canoe kayak or boat walk within a splendid framework.
Navigation does not present large difficulties, only the crossing of the low gorges of the Verdon is a little long (4 hours outward journey) but extraordinarily wild.
On the two broad parts of the lake can be practised veil, pedal boat and board with veil.
The bathe is supervised. Engine navigation other than electric is prohibited.

This lake offers all the nautical possibilities of activities for the treat of large and small. In the neighbourhoods nature remains preserved, with vast plates, fields of lavenders, and of course the deep throats of the Verdon
