Village rebuilt around the castle of Glandevès. Beautiful excursions to be made in the surrounding solid masses: the Peak of Bertagne, Oppidum de Cuges, bars of Extremely-White and the Head of Nige. With equal distance from Marseilles and Toulon and with 20mn of the sea, Cuges the Pines is leaned with the side of the Solid mass of Holy the Balsam.

The site is exceptional by the largest polje (crater) of France, consequence of a gigantic collapse of ground at the time tertiary sector. Cuges is intallé today in this plain, forming a closed depression of 5km length on 1,5km of broad, accessible by the collars from the Angel and Castellet…

The current village whose construction was started in 1507 underwent many restorations. Do not miss the oldest streets of the village (of Doctor Gastinel, of the Clock, Victor Hugo and the data base Gambetta) as well as the fountains and the garden of the city.
