Carros is a very old commune which developed very quickly these last years. This economic advancement does not have therefore damaging the charm of its old initial village, even if its peace suffered a little from it.

Carros has 3 faces today:

- Carros-village: the Carros old man.

- Carros Last nines: New city creates in 1963.

- the industrial park of Carros it Pitcher: 200 hectares gathering 400 companies and 6 500 people.

On the tourist level, only Carros-village is of real interest. As the old village is placed in height, it offers a broad panorama on the alpine range and the littoral, of Villefranche with Antibes. Remember that the sea is with less than 20 km of Carros.

This old medieval village has a castle of the XII° which is in perfect state and which dominates any Carros. You will let yourselves guide by the small lanes in calade through the village, they are charming.

You will pass then, by some arched passages, do not forget to raise the eyes, the high old houses beautiful and are liberally flowered.

You will also cross some small shaded places with of course, in one of the corners of the place, a bench of little old woman of the village discussing calmly and looking at the last estivants.
