Situated among Carpentras and Fountain of Vaucluse has, Beaucet is a charming small perched village which offers magnificent landscapes on the Mountains of Vaucluse.
Real village of Provençal crib, you will discover Beaucet caught in the cliff and snuggled up shielded from its strong castle of which ruins and esplanade are in the course of organization. By walking you in the lanes of the village, you will not be able to miss the two triumph gates of the ancient(former) town - fortress, you will also be able to visit the church which dates the XII ° and which was restored partially.
Near the village, a path VTT and pedestrian connecting Venasque, Fountain of Vaucluse and Sénanque, will take you in magnificent places where you will appreciate peace and beauty of the nature which remained here authentic.
In 2 km of the village, an easy road of access will drive(guide) you until the Hermitage. Every year pilgrimages go(surrender) on this road of the former(ancient) oratories to join the Hermitage of Holy People where two beautiful rural chapels are dedicated to the Saint.
Beaucet has the chance to have several artisans of art installed(settled) in the village where you will be able to admire their works: potteries, weaving mill, earthenwares, Christmas crib figures, varnished lands...
