Located at orée of the park of Mercantour, Annot is a village which knew to keep all its authenticity and its character. Built over a small hill and surrounded by timbered mountains, the village which dates from the 11° century, was little by little spread out over the river banks Vaïre.

Annot is the city of the thousand-year-old sandstones, you will discover these immense rock blocks (which can sometimes exceed 100 meters) thanks to the marked out circuit of the room of the King. This path will also make you discover the very beautiful natural decorations of the village secular chestnuts, field terraces into restanque on cliffs

You will walk in the narrow lanes of the village which curve a such labyrinth and will put to the test your direction orientation. Beautiful old houses border these lanes nicely paved. The winter, Annot is transformed into a pleasant basic ski resort and offers a vast skiable field.
