Located at 20 mn of the Lake from Ste Crosses and 60 mn of the edge of sea, Sillans the Cascade is a charming village.

By its river, its opulent shades, its cascades and its vast meadows, Sillans has many attractions to allure its visitors. The village kept its particular medieval aspect, tightened on itself it has a little the pace of a large farm whose central place would be the interior court. One can admire there:
The church St Etienne (XVIIème), his pretty porch and its apparent stones.

Ramparts with their beautiful towers and of the crenels of XIème.

The castle, in restoration since its acquisition by the commune.
In Sillans there is also the cascade. A pleasant walk of 800m in the medium of gigantic plane trees centenaires of 800m leads to this splendid fall of 42m top. They are the water of Bresque enlarged by those of the beautiful source of the castle of Bresc and the small valley of Ourc which precipitate in a small whirling lake.
